WCAN Friday Fun Day - WCAN swimmers enjoyed our first

Friday, Fun Day on May 28th, our new monthly celebration!  The

kids were introduced to some rather "odd" stroke techniques,

courtesy of our wild and wacky coaches.  One swimmer expressed

the hope that he wouldn't see these strokes in upcoming meets!

Happy Birthday was sung, Killer whales and penguins were spotted

and a fun time was had by all.  Some very tasty treats were enjoyed at

Our May birthday recipients were Jack Montoro (May 2), Nahum Cruz (May 16), Nicholas Sullivan (May 26), and Laurel Steinharter (May 27). 

WCAN Family BBQ - On May 22nd, WCAN

families and friends enjoyed a fun afternoon

in the pool with some good food for good measure. 

Our second annual summer kick-off BBQ was a

good time for all, and we hope that everyone
